The exact time of launch is not revealed (except a very broad launch window) to keep the missile combat crew on their toes. A GLORY TRIP simulates a live EWO (Emergency War Order) launch. Used to be a tradition (not sure if it's continued today) but the GLORY TRIP crew used to keep the remains of the bolts that held down the missile in the silo as a souvenir.
